Historical Landmarks of Taguig

Taguig City has many places of interest, especially for tourism.  Years ago, Taguig is mostly rice agricultural area, a flood plain, and only a few barrios or barangays are genuinely residential areas.  But as years passed by, a lot of the landscape of Taguig have been transformed and developed.  One have to admire also the people's talents, skills, and perseverance to transform this once sleepy and remote town into a thriving and now dynamic modern city.

An Introduction of What the Society is all about ...



Warm Welcome !!!

The Taguig Heritage Society , a Non-Government Organization (NGO),  advocates, studies and promotes the culture, history, art and the tourism potential of Taguig City.  Its effort is to preserve, nurture, enrich and promote the legacy and heritage of Taguig.   This is to provide the new generation of Taguigenos a rich value of its heritage and history and to pass on that culture.  Founded on July 26, 2016, the society's  founders aims to pass on this important history and culture to its inhabitants and to be aware of their identity.

The Society is accepting for membership anyone who wants to contribute to the history and culture of Taguig through active participation.  This includes especially those who have skills in writing, painting, research, or anyone in the field of arts and those who have love for the history of Taguig.
